The youngest pupils of Northdown Primary School, Margate, hopped onto the school minibuses to head over to Manor House Forest School at Quex Park for some Christmassy fun recently.
The three-year-olds from Northdown’s nursery, The Cove, explored the Forest School, embarking on an adventure around the woodland, first discovering some bubbly snow and taking a ride in Father Christmas’s sleigh, before hunting for clues to answer Christmas questions.
The children enjoyed a range of fun and exciting activities, which included zipping down the zip wire, petting the farm animals, toasting marshmallows and drinking hot chocolate around a campfire, making festive floral arrangements and having lots of fun in the adventure play area.
Nursery manager Kelly Harris said: “All of the children (and the adults) had a fantastic day and thoroughly enjoyed themselves, setting us all up nicely for the festivities ahead.”
